After 16 years of mostly failed gig, the blue hedgehog returns to his sources

According to early expectations, Sega today officially revealed its plans for a series of Sonic, with a new game series called Sonic 4: Episode 1. This is the first true sequel in the series since Sonic 3 was released on – in 1994, against all games “Sonic and friends’ failures of recent years.

As they had hoped all the fans, the game is a two – dimensional returning beloved classic formula of Sonic running fast along the tracks to collect as many coins and avoid enemies. As the name suggests, is really just the first part of a larger project to come chapters – chapters during the next few years.

There is little information about the game, released this summer to play a direct download – X360, the – and PS3 – Wii. No PC version is planned. Version – the Wii will support motion detection, and the game will include tables records various stages will be updated online.
